Ultrasound THERAPY
Ultrasound Therapy is used to increase mobility by decreasing inflammation, relaxing the tissue, and breaking down any internal scar tissue in the body.
What does chiropractic ultrasound do?
The use of chiropractic ultrasound has proven to be an effective treatment for patients suffering from acute and chronic pain. This technique helps increase tissue relaxation, break down internal scarring and inflammation as well as provide better mobility by stimulating blood flow which all work together towards one goal: Your health!
What is the purpose of ultrasound therapy?
Ultrasound therapy has been found to be an effective treatment for many different types of pain. It works by directing sound waves at specific frequencies that cause cells in your body to produce energy, which then heats them up enough so they break down and release chemicals like endorphins. This helps block those paths causing discomfort while also boosting production within nerves themselves - providing relief without potentially harmful side-effects you could find with other treatments!
Ultrasound therapy from a chiropractor may help reduce pain if you have any of the following:
- Osteoarthritis

Is chiropractic ultrasound Safe?
The FDA has approved the use of ultrasound therapy, provided it is performed by a licensed chiropractor and moving the transducer head at all times. However if one stays still for too long there can be potential to burn tissues underneath which would make you feel pain or discomfort in that area
Unlicensed practitioners should not perform this type of treatment because they may not have the expertise needed but instead refer patients to someone who does know what they're doing like myself!
Does Ultrasound Therapy Work?
While some people find ultrasound therapy effective in controlling their type of problem and others report little difference between it compared to traditional methods like injections/surgery; one study showed PRP treatment was better at relieving shoulder pain than both steroid shots AND ultrasound treatments when applied.
